Behind The Scenes: Pearls

After not doing a full photoshoot for months I was more than ready to create something beautiful.

As is often the case, I gathered ideas from the every beautiful world of Pinterest.

It didn't take long for the idea of gluing hundreds of pearls on some sweet woman to take root.

I contacted Shea, procured waaaaaayyyy too many pearls, and found Bella.

And then we ran with it.

We played with the idea but kept it simple.

We allowed Bella's naturally beautiful futures to stand out and make our idea something unique.

That's the beautiful thing about a collaborative project . . . a little bit of each person mixes together to create a stunning end result.

These images wouldn't be what they are without Shea or Bella.

They wouldn't be what they are without me.

Each of us had a needed hand in creating something special. If one of us was missing, it's obvious these images wouldn't be what they are.

I suppose that's life though. We're all here, hopefully working to make this world a better place. But if one of us leaves, if one of us doesn't show up and participate in the creation, we miss out on what could have been . . . what should have been.

We are all incomplete.

So keep showing up to create beautiful things.

We need YOU to create something beautiful in this world.

Side note: you'll see a gentleman here and there in the video. This is a friend of mine, Jesse, (also one of my fitness coaches) who wanted to fine tune his photography skills and see some of my hacky photography equipment in use. He was a champ!
