Hello 3rd trimester!
We’ve actually been in the 3rd trimester for a while considering that we’re about 4 weeks out from delivery.
Taking self portraits through this process has been a gift.
I’ve gotten to watch my body change and develop as this little boy has grown.
I’ve forced myself to take the time (and reserve the energy) to dress nice, move sensually, and admire my physical form.
I’ve loved it!
I’ve loved the creation and feelings of admiration for this gift of a body and motherhood.
Pregnancy isn’t easy for most women.
We’re tired, we look different, we have fears and worries, and things hurt . . . but if we could see ourselves as beautiful creators of new life, as divinely appointed guardians of precious spirits . . . maybe then this process could be a little easier.
Soon to be new moms, if you don’t see your beauty and unquestionable divinity, I do.
I see you.
I walk with you.
And I stand in reverence of you during this sacred time of remarkable creation.
